Course Summary
The NPORS 360 degree excavator training course is designed to provide candidates with the skills and knowledge required in order to operate a 360 degree excavator of any size.
The 360 excavator training course consists of both theory and practical instruction including
- Introduction to the 360 excavator
- Carry out pre-shift inspections
- Instruments and controls of machine
- Lubrication, fuel and coolant systems
- Deep and shallow excavation
- How to trench, backfill, level and mark out
- Attachments explanation
Upon successful completion of the NPORS assessment, candidate will receive an NPORS operators card.

I’m getting on a bit, is it like going back to school and will I feel out of place?
Not at all. A large percentage of our learners are mature students simply keeping up to date with current standards. Everybody is made to feel welcome in the centre.
