The High Pressure Awareness course is designed for personnel who are required to operate high pressure water jetting equipment in the course of their daily work.
Course Summary
The High Pressure Awareness course is designed to enable operators to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to safely operate high pressure jetting equipment in drain cleaning and surface cleaning environments. The course will follow the guidance given in the Water Jetting Association Code of Practice.
The High Pressure Awareness course consists of both theory and practical assessment as detailed below:-
- Registration and Introduction
- Application and Machines
- Legislation and the WJA Codes of Practice
- Jetting Equipment
- Water Jetting Hazards
- Water Jetting Injuries
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Operational Procedures
On successful completion of the High Pressure Awareness course delegates will receive a Water Jetting Association Card that is valid for 3 years.
