Delegates attending this course should be experienced and qualified (trained and certificated) in the skills and job safety knowledge for the subjects on which they will be required to give instruction.
Course Summary
To train selected delegates in the instructional methods and techniques required for the successful instruction and training of personnel on various applications and equipment for which training by a qualified instructor may be required.
The course is ideally suited for instructors required to train on hydraulic lorry loaders, overhead cranes and slinging or other non-Forklift equipment.
Delegates are progressively assessed in the following aspects:
- Preparing / Presenting Classroom Lessons (using visual aids)
- Preparing / Presenting of Demonstrations
- Preparing / Presenting of Practical Instruction
- Knowledge of Instructional Methods & Techniques
All courses are monitored at random by an ITSSAR Training Advisor
ITSSAR National Register of Instructors.
Candidates are not required to bring any equipment with them on this course.
They should also be literate and articulate and must have proven themselves to be responsible, mature and reliable employees, with the desire to instruct others.
Note: This course meets requirements of TDLB standards and is therefore suitable for those wishing to progress towards attaining an NVQ trainer award.

Am I going to feel safe during my course participation?
Beside the fact that our staff and the environment of the school will make you feel happy and safe, CCTV is operating in most of the school’s areas.
I’m getting on a bit, is it like going back to school and will I feel out of place?
Not at all. A large percentage of our learners are mature students simply keeping up to date with current standards. Everybody is made to feel welcome in the centre.
