Managing Safely Refresher training is designed for current IOSH certicated Managers and Supervisors and to keep them up to date with the latest knowledge to tackle health and safety issues within their team.
The IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course is designed to provide continued support to Managers and Supervisors dealing with Health and Safety issues in the workplace and allows them to stay current in Health and Safety legislation.
The IOSH Managing Safely Refresher training course consists of:
- Revisiting Managing Safely
- Reactive monitoring
- Risk assessment and risk control
- Health and Safety legislation
- Common hazards
- Active monitoring
- Safety management systems
- Measuring performance
- Integrating environmental management
The course is assessed via short answer questions, there is no practical assessment. Successful delegates will receive a IOSH Refresher Certificate which is valid for 3 years.
No personal protective equipment is required for the IOSH course.
Candidates should be in a Managerial or Supervisory role with a current IOSH certificate (less than 3 years old is recommended).

What is IOSH?

Am I going to feel safe during my course participation?
Beside the fact that our staff and the environment of the school will make you feel happy and safe, CCTV is operating in most of the school’s areas.
I’m getting on a bit, is it like going back to school and will I feel out of place?
Not at all. A large percentage of our learners are mature students simply keeping up to date with current standards. Everybody is made to feel welcome in the centre.
