Course Summary

The purpose of this course is to update current PASMA card holders with the knowledge of the Advanced Guardrail System (AGR).
Current PASMA card holders before 01/01/2012 may not have been trained on this system and as a result of this are advised by PASMA to attend this course.
The course explains how to safely assemble, dismantle and relocate mobile access towers using an Advance Guardrail System without the risk of personal injury to the candidate or others.

Candidates who already hold a valid mobile access ‘Towers for User’ Photo Card and Certificate.

You will need

Candidates must hold a valid ‘Tower for Users’ Photo Card and Certificate.  Candidates are required to bring suitable PPE with them on this course.

Who is the Accrediting Body?

PASMA (Prefabricated Access Supplies and Manufactured Association) is the leading industry body for all matters relating to mobile access towers in the UK.  All members offer equipment that meets the current British European Standard BS EN1004:2004 and their equipment carries the British Standard Kite Mark or equivalent mark of approval.

Who is this working at height course suitable for?

If your job requires you to work at height, and involves you using the necessary height safety equipment to do this work safely, then this is the course for you.

Do I need to pay for my training before I do it?

Can you cater for students with special needs?

Yes, but as with all special requirements that differ from the norm, please make us aware of your requirements and we will do our best to provide the appropriate support.

There are a variety of hotels and B&B’s in the area. There is a list available to assist you with booking your stay.

Am  I going to feel safe during my course participation?

Beside the fact that our staff and the environment of the school will make you feel happy and safe, CCTV is operating in most of the school’s areas.

I’m getting on a bit, is it like going back to school and will I feel out of place?

Not at all.  A large percentage of our learners are mature students simply keeping up to date with current standards.  Everybody is made to feel welcome in the centre.
