More than half of transport, logistics and distribution operators have suffered a major environmentally-hazardous spill, according to new research by the Environment Agency and the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF).
Spillages on site can have far reaching effects on your business, that is why it is critical that all spillages are controlled as quickly and safely as possible. Adequate spillage training for your team is the only way to prepare.
Spillages or loss of control of substances can happen to almost all companies. This can range from chemical plants operating to the COMAH legislation, to transportation and courier companies that will be moving client packages with no knowledge of the contents or the emergency actions required in the event of a spillage.

- Spillage Containment, including the use of foam
Risk Assessment
- Considerations to be taken into account as the incident develops
- Spillage Risk Assessment: (Access, Communications, Data Retrieval, Control, Personnel Safety, Decontamination, Additional Hazards)
Practical Workshop
- On Site Practical Spillage Training Exercise
On successful completion, candidates will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

I’m getting on a bit, is it like going back to school and will I feel out of place?
