Course Summary

The CITB SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) course is designed to help delegates understand environmental management issues on site and best practice techniques and legal compliance.

The CITB SEATS course summary is as follows:-

  •     The significance and importance of the environment
  •     A basic understanding of Environmental Management Systems
  •     Site Waste Management
  •     Contaminated Land
  •     Prevention of pollution and water management
  •     Use of energy and resources
  •     Being responsible contractor and a good neighbour – including statutory nuisance, commuications, archaeology  and heritage.

Group discussions, exercise and case studies followed by a 25 question mulitple choice exam. Delegates who successfully complete this CITB SEATS course will receive an accredited CITB Site Safey Plus certificate for Site Environmental Awareness.

Who is it for?

This course is aimed at personnel with managerial or supervisory responsibilities on a construction site, including site managers, site supervisors, site foreman, site agents and those with design or purchasing responsibilities.
