Our CAT & Genny Training course will teach you how to avoid underground cables and pipes whilst excavating roads and pavements.
Cat & Genny training refers to a type of training program designed to educate individuals on the safe use of cable avoidance tools (CAT) and signal generators (Genny) in the context of construction and excavation work. These tools are used to detect and locate underground utilities such as electrical cables, water pipes, and gas lines before any excavation or construction work begins.
The CAT device is used to detect the presence of metallic pipes and cables underground, while the Genny generates a signal that can be detected by the CAT device, helping to identify the exact location and depth of the utility.

Upon successful completion , you will be issued with a Training Plus Certificate of Competence valid for 3 Years.
